Supermodel and “super”-wifey to Patriots QB Tom Brady had some choice words when a Giants fan taunted her after the Patriots’ loss to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI.
After the loss, Bundchen made her way through Lucas Oil Stadium and a fan yelled, “Eli rules!” “Eli owns your husband!” With that Gisele she commented about the Patriots’ receivers and it was captured on video by TheInsider.com
Mrs Brady was caught saying: “You [have] to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball. My husband cannot [bleeping] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”
In fairness, Brady has said that his wife often reacts emotionally to games and during Super Bowl week, her email asking friends and family to pray for “Tommy” became public and was the subject of some derision.
On Sunday night, the Patriot’s Quarterback wasn’t having any part of the criticism of his wide receivers, particularly Welker. He called Welker a “phenomenal” player. “We just couldn’t connect. He’s a hell of a player. I’ll keep throwing the ball to him for as long as I possibly can. He’s a phenomenal player and teammate. I love that guy.”
