Next time one of your favorite artist have a camera with them and starts recording, they might want to think twice. Just ask The Game! The West Coast rapper has been hit with a $5 million dollar lawsuit from a group of police officers.

In 2005, The Game was arrested in North Carolina while shooting a promo dvd for his mixtape. According to officers who arrested the rapper, they were not aware that Game was filming and planning to the use the footage. They are suing him for “Defamation of Character”. Earlier this week, an appeals court ruled that Game must pay the money to the officers.

Fox News also reports the police officers are also seeking $10 million in punitive damages but the judge ruled that this should be taken up in a separate trial.
