Its been close to 10 years since Ja Rule seemingly had the rap game in the palm of his hands and that “Thugs” and “Ride or Die Chicks” were throwing up the “M’s” and repping Rule York to the fullest. Now we all know what happened and I think the valuable lesson learned is “Nothing Last Forever” and “The people that truly love you will always be there in the end”.

Its 2012 and to be honest…the Majority of music purchasers or listeners don’t really listen to Ja Rule or 50 Cent…Ironically Rick Ross is controlling most 2 waves and iPods now…Which brings me to this. Can a rapper in a highly publicized beef that went wrong who in his prime sold 3 million on average comeback and get love in 2012? Seems like the thing to do now is give passes.

1. Ross Lied about Being a C.O

2. T.I consistently goes to jail

3. Wayne wears jeggins and does questionable things

4. Drake is winning for being “emotional”

5. Waka Flocka has more adlibs than actual rapping bars and that’s live or on CD!

If Ja Rule has dope rhymes, great production and avoids beef and diss tracks….Will you wipe your slate clean? I think this is what this album is supposed to answer. If he comes mediocre…I think it will be confirmation that it’s over. As a fan of hip-hop, what do you think? Let me know.
