Drake expressed his dis-like of the kind of dance music that David Guetta creates and doesn’t like Pitbull’s catalog of recent songs either.

He recently opened up about the prospect of creating music for the Dance genre but insisted his work has ”integrity and soul,” which would be watered down by working with an artist like Guetta.

“For me, the David Guetta stuff just doesn’t work,” Drake told NME magazine. “I don’t really wanna go there. There’s other artists, that’s their sound. They feel in order to thrive internationally that they gotta do straightforward, four on the flour, David Guetta, Pitbull music. For me, I’d rather go to somebody like [producer] Jamie xx and tell him, ‘Look, I really wanna turn the club upside down, but I wanna do it with integrity, with soul.”’

The “Headlines” rhymer is currently hitting stadiums on his Club Paradise tour. This week, he’s in the U.K. at the Capital FM Arena.
