According to the Indy Star, head coach Chuck Pagano has been medically cleared to return as the Colts’ head coach.
“Medically, he’s 99 percent recovered from my standpoint,” said Dr. Larry Cripe of IU Health Simon Cancer Center. “I have placed him on no restrictions.’’
Pagano still must decide he’s physically up to the task and the Colts must determine he’s ready as well.
Interim coach Bruce Arians is hopeful Pagano returns to the team’s Northwestside complex Monday and resumes his full responsibilities. The Colts close the regular season Dec. 30 against Houston at Lucas Oil Stadium.
