Which is more disappointing? The Indiana Pacers losing to the Kobe Bryant-less Los Angeles Lakers or the sold-out Bankers Life Fieldhouse looking like the Staples Center.

George Hill upset at Pacers fans 300x300 George Hill upset with Pacers fansPoint guard George Hill made sure the media was aware of how upset he was at the fans loyalties.

According to theIndianapolis Star, “It sucks, it was 70-30 out there (in favor of Lakers fans).” said Hill. He continued “These are the same people who want autographs. We’re out there in the community doing what were supposed to on and off the court. Something has to change. It shouldn’t feel like an away game, especially with an important game like this.

To the crowds liking, the Pacers were beaten by the Lakers 99-93 in a mistake filled game by one of the top defenses in the league.

The more Dwight Howard produced and the more three-point baskets they hit the louder the fans cheered.

The Star said it best “All the Pacers needed to do was lower the lights in the stands, put Jack Nicholson and Denzel Washington in the high-priced seats and you would have thought you were across the country at Staples Center. Just like any other time when a marquee team comes to Indianapolis, the fieldhouse was full of fans wearing purple-and-gold shirts.”
