20 years ago today the world lost one of its greatest talents, specifically within the world of hip-hop. On September 13, 1996, Tupac Shakur died of fatal gunshot wounds he sustained in a shooting and his life was cut entirely too short at the age of 25. As social media has continued to show an outpouring of love, respect, admiration and sadness on the anniversary of his death, a new development in the biopic of his life just took a highly-anticipated turn.

All Eyez On Me is the name of the Tupac Shakur biopic that has not only finished filming, but also dropped a few teasers to entice fans to flock to the theaters when it drops in the near future. In a case of perfect timing, a brand new teaser was released today to not only commemorate the anniversary, but to also give fans a different look at the film than what has already been released.

As reported by Shadow and Act, the life of the charismatic, controversial and unforgettable rapper/actor is directed by well-known video director Benny Boom (after John Singleton left the project due to creative differences) and features a cast of relative newcomers.
