When it comes to acquiring birth control, well known places like Planned Parenthood and even other medical clinics have a variety of options for women.
However, now you will have those options and you can have them by opening your smart phone.
According to Fox 59, Lemonaid, Maven and even Planned Parenthood have apps that you can now download and have birth control within hours or a couple of days.
Indianapolis ObGyn, Dr. Michelle Jones-Singer says each apps varies and can require different things like an age requirement, questionnaire, video chat with a clinician or medical insurance.
Dr. Jones-Singer, also noted some of the apps are only offered in select states but in the case of Indiana, it looks like Indiana’s new telemedicine law will allow birth control apps to be offered.
