The Butler University women’s basketball games Saturday will bring awareness to breast cancer.

The Bulldogs take on Cleveland State at 2 p.m. at Hinkle Fieldhouse during the Weekend to End Breast Cancer Awareness, said Johnny Smith, St. Vincent Health spokesman. The team will wear pink shirts and shoes on the court and is encouraging fans to wear pink.

The first 150 fans will get a pink Dawg Pound T-shirt. Fans will also receive a pair of pink surgical gloves for a celebratory Pink Wave and Cheer. Fight breast cancer merchandise will be available at the game, and proceeds will support the St. Vincent Breast Center.

Head coach Beth Couture, a breast cancer survivor, will honor the St. Vincent Breast Center physician team and all breast cancer survivors on the court for a special recognition during halftime.

Breast cancer survivors receive free admission to the game, while family members and supporters receive the group rate of $5 for adults and $3 for youth. Visit http://www.ticketmaster.com for tickets.
