INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It’s been green, teal, and of course blue.

But, Friday morning the downtown canal was dyed pink.

Indianapolis First Lady Winnie Ballard and Colts Vice President Kalen Irsay teamed up with the American Cancer Society at the Ohio Street basin to dye the downtown canal pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The city is also hoping T-shirts sold at the game on Sunday will bring in a lot of cash.

“We have the opportunity to make $50,000 to donate to the IU Simon Cancer Society. It’s just great to be able to honor anyone that’s survived cancer or who has it now,” said Irsay.

Colts fans will be able to buy the shirts for just $20 at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
