A community group in South Africa is asking one of rap’s biggest star’s for a little help. AllHipHop.com is reporting that eBlockwatch wants 50 Cent to adopt a rhinoceros. The animal, named Phila, shares common bond with 50, as it has been shot nine times by poachers. Andre Snyman says eBlockwatch believes Fif could be a great spokesman for the dangers of animal poaching. He explains, quote, “We want to ask him if he wants to become the godfather of our rhino so that he can create awareness worldwide about rhino poaching.” Fifty Cent has yet to respond to eBlockwatch’s offer.
50 Cent is reportedly working on his fifth studio album. The record is expected to arrive in stores sometime in late 2010 or 2011.
