Foxy Brown missed a performance in New York last week after the venue allegedly failed to meet her demands. TMZ.com is reporting that the rapper was slated to take the stage last Wednesday night at Manhattan’s Splash Bar, but wound up arriving four hours late. Brown reportedly asked Splash Bar to send a 2010 SUV to pick her up, but was angered when a 2009 model showed up at her place. She eventually got in the vehicle and arrived at Splash Bar 30 minutes before closing time. Foxy Brown then refused to take the stage, claiming the club refused to pay her the other half of her one-thousand-dollar appearance fee.
A rep for the “Hot Spot” rapper states, quote, “They promised they would give her the rest of the deposit and balance due when she arrived, but did not! Foxy was disappointed that the deposit and rider requirements were not met, that was all.” Promoters for the Splash Bar are now “discussing their legal options.” Brown made headlines earlier this year for allegedly flashing her neighbor during a dispute. She has since pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor count of criminal contempt.
