Authorities in Hudson County, New Jersey are on the lookout for rapper Joe Budden.
“The Jersey Journal” is reporting that a warrant has been issued for the emcee’s arrest for failing to pay nearly 13-thousand-dollars in child support.
Budden also reportedly failed to appear at a hearing concerning the matter back in May.
Officials say they are looking for Joe Budden as part of their yearly sweep of “deadbeat dads.” This isn’t the first time that Joe Budden’s failure to pay child support has landed him in hot water. He was also arrested in August of 2009 on charges that he hadn’t paid.
Joe Budden is reportedly working on his third studio album, “The Great Escape.” The record is scheduled for a 2011 release.
