Hip-hop fans will get to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday by watching one of the genre’s biggest stars perform. Kanye West will be taking the stage on November 25th as a performer at the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The emcee will be part of a line-up that include Jessica Simpson, Keri Hilson, The Roots, India.Arie, Gladys Knight and Miranda Cosgrove. The parade’s executive producer, Amy Kule, says fans can expect another year of great performances and breath-taking floats. She states, quote, “The 84th Macy’s Parade will dazzle and entertain the entire nation with a fantastic pageant filled with the most popular giant character helium balloons, awe-inspiring floats, the nation’s best marching bands, and an amazing line-up of performers that will enchant millions of Parade fans everywhere.”
The 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC Thursday, November 25th at 9:00 a.m. Just days before the Macy’s Parade, Kanye West will drop his new album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” The record is due in stores November 22nd.
