MC Hammer wants to end his feud with hip-hop giant Jay-Z after saying that he wants the pair of them to move on.
The ‘Can’t Touch This’ rapper released a ‘diss track’ and video for ‘Better Run Run’, as a response to Jay-Z’s verse on Kanye West’s track ‘So Appalled’ and the video featured of Hov look-a-like who was running from a devil.
While he was in London, Jay-Z referred to MC Hammer and said that MC Hammer will regret his actions after he wrote about him in his new book’Decoded’.
Talking on Radio 1Extra, Jigga said: “He’s going to be embarrassed. I said some really great things about him in the book and about people’s perception of him and how he’s from East Oakland.”
MC Hammer has now claimed that he wants the two to settle their differences and put it behind them. In an interview with AllHipHop, he said: “As a responsible veteran of twenty-something years of this, I can’t leave it out there with tensions.
“I am reading comments on both sides – it’s not about that, I have seen all of that before. There is an opportunity to say at some point we [should move] onto the nex thing. You know, Jay took his shot and I answered. Now let’s move on.”
