Some of the biggest names in entertainment will be in New York next week to have a little fun at the expense of BET executive Stephen Hill. AllHipHop.com is reporting that Hill is set to be roasted at the annual Music and Entertainment Industry Comedy Roast. Rap superstar Sean “Diddy” Combs will take part in the roast, as will Nick Cannon, Chris Rock, Anthony Anderson, Mike Epps and Gabrielle Union. The roast is a part of City of Hope’s Fourth Annual Music and Entertainment Industry event, which raises money for research and care for patients with cancer and diabetes.
Stephen Hill says he’s happy to be the butt of a few jokes to raise money for a good cause. He states, quote, “The complete bludgeoning of my ego during this roast is absolutely worth it for the support and attention that will be brought to City of Hope’s efforts.” The roast of Stephen Hill will take place at New York’s Fredercick P. Rose Hall Home of Jazz at the Lincoln Center on Thursday, December 9th.
