About 13 years ago a guy named Puff Day dropped and album called “No Way Out” and it was a great success. The Streets supported it and mainstream America heard Puff and his family out. Times have indeed changed! Today’s music world secretly loves hip-hop yet wants to be sectioned off and “raise the musical bar” and not be considered rap music. If there is one album that epitomizes that…Its Last Train To Paris.

Diddy Dirty Money have a very solid effort on their hands. From a “musical standpoint” it doesn’t lack at all. Now, this wont be played at many hood clubs and cats wont be banging this down the block…However this album is great dance music and Im sure a lot of middle age women will be adding this to their rotation.

Albums Highlights

4. Ass On The Floor (Feat. Swizz Beatz)

5. Looking For Love (Feat. Usher)

8. Yesterday (Feat. Chris Brown)

9. Shades (Feat. Lil Wayne & Justin Timberlake)

10. Angels (Feat. Notorious B.I.G.)

11. Your Love (Feat. Trey Songz)

13. Hello Good Morning (Feat. T.I.)

Now the song with Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown may be a big success considering Wiz has indeed made himself a Hot Commodity in the music industry

I think the biggest surprise on this album is Justin Timberlake! His verse actually had me anticipating the rest of the album. I would say bar for bar…His verse is the best material on the album making Shades the best song on the album.

OVERALL…I give this a 3.5/5. True its not any boom-bap, the perception of the album does change without all of the features and all of your toughguy friends will be quick to diss you for playing this album in the car…but Diddy just want to make you dance…And when you listen to music for what it is…Its Dope

Salute to Diddy Dirty Money and the Last Train to Paris Album
