Purdue moved to No. 3 in the Associated Press basketball poll released today, matching its highest spot since the Robinson-led Boilermakers ended the 1993-94 season there.

The Boilermakers were fourth last week, matching a season high. They have won nine consecutive games to take control of the Big Ten.

Purdue travels to Minnesota on Wednesday and returns home for a showdown Sunday against No. 14 Michigan State.

Butler moved up three spots to No. 15 and has won 17 consecutive games.
