Ciara is always a topic of conversation. She is probably the only female who remains relevant no matter what happens in the game. I mean her first hit was with Jazzy Phae and Petey Pablo. She went from the young girl who many thought was “Trying to take Aaliyah’s spot” to a grown woman who can “pop that thang” like no one else in recent memory! Basic Instinct may not gain a lot of new fans but then again when you’re style is in a different lane it’s hard to tell who really likes you and who doesn’t

Now its a couple songs I didn’t like that may end up being really big hits Turn It Up with Usher screams “NOW That’s what I call Music” and sure to bang in every suburban club with a mix crowd and What’s For Dinner is definitely a Ladies Anthem that will turn into some little fast girl Facebook Status but overall I just wasn’t digging it.
OVERALL…3/5 This is an album for young ladies to vibe to.. and it’s nothing wrong with that. Some of Ciara songs make me wanna do it! To her…Specifically! Like people that know me know I’m in love with her and would probably get engaged to her after like 5 dates. I just want to make sure her personality is on point, but back to the album. Ciara low key has improved vocally every album. She may not blow you out of the water with runs and high notes but she definitely kills in her comfort zone! This is not an album of Mass Appeal, this is an album you either like or you don’t! Ciara is slowly becoming the Sex Symbol that everyone wanted Alica Keys, Keyshia Cole and even Beyonce to be. Like her or not, Ciara is almost Janet Jackson “Janet” album status, if she steps her soul game up and keeps her sex appeal in tact…there will be a definite problem!
