Hiphopblog.com reports: Katt Williams doesn’t have much to joke about these days. The funny man is facing mounting debt that includes having his Calabasas, CA. mansion foreclosed on because he allegedly still owes Uncle Sam millions in back taxes despite his comedy tour grossing an estimated $50 million.
Black Voices says that the comedian’s driveway is no longer littered with cars, since his most-prized possession, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, just got hit by the repo-man. “The actor’s most beloved vehicle, which Williams talked about in several of his past performances, is no longer in his possession; Williams’ $400k-plus mega mobile was recently repossessed,” Black Voices reports.
Perhaps he should reconsider only performing in places that will honor his newfound rap career, that’s just our suggestion.
In related news, Snoop and his wife Shaunte are also facing the IRS. The Detroit News says the Doggfather and his queen were just hit with a tax lien amounting to almost $600k.
