Keepittrill.com says: Last year it was revealed that Snoop Dogg owed more than $200k to the IRS and now it looks like the amount continues to pile up.
The West Coast rapper had a tax lien filed against him in March of 2009, which accused the rapper of owing $284,053.59 in back taxes to the IRS. Latest reports show that the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” hitmaker owes $598,309 to the government. Official records with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds show that the lien was filed against Snoop, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, and his wife on January 19 of last month.
Snoop is only one of a plethora of entertainers who recently faced tax trouble or are currently dealing with the IRS. Joining Snoop in the problems are comedians Chris Tucker & Katt Williams and rappers Eve, Nas, Xzibit, Method Man, Lil Kim, Jermaine Dupri and Big Boi of Outkast.
