Reppin’ the Midwest, a new rap super-group called Pulled Over by the Cops has been formed, under the tutelage of the Texas rap legend, the Underground King Bun B (who will be in Indianapolis on Feb26th)

The ‘super’ group is made of up Chi-Town MC’s The Cool Kids, Chip The Ripper and Gary, Indiana gangsta rapper Freddie Gibbs, with occasional appearances by UGK’s Bun B.

The crew first appeared with Bun on Freddie Gibbs’ 2010 track ‘Oil Money,’ and have reportedly been working together since, recording several tracks for an album which will be produced by Chicago production team the Blended Babies.

‘Authority,’ the first offering from Pulled Over by the Cops pairs the group’s smooth rhymes with jazzy production by Blended Babies and a hook by singer Nate Santos.

Could this be the new WuTang Clan for today’s Hip Hop?
