Released from jail only months ago, Lil Wayne is apparently being kept under close contact with the long arm of the law.

The rapper was reportedly intercepted by DEA officials and searched while exiting a flight in Florida. Agents were searching for guns, drugs or other contraband, according to reports, but their efforts turned up nothing.

The New Orleans rapper was allowed to leave following the frisk.

No reports as to why DEA agents chose to search the rapper. As a part of his two-year probation, Wayne, cannot drink liquor, do any drugs or possess weapons.

Wayne will be kicks off his “I Am Music” II tour on March 18th in Buffalo, New York.
