It appears we are having a flash back to last year. Rihanna’s upcoming “Loud” tour is rather quiet when it comes to ticket sales.  SingersRoom.com is citing sources who say Rihanna’s manager, Jay Brown, has asked her to cancel some U.S. dates following poor pre-sales last month.  One insider remarks, quote, “The ticket sales in big U.S. cities like Boston are so bad they will barely cover basics like the lighting and other arena costs.  Tour managers are begging local radio stations to do giveaways.”  Rihanna is slated to take the stage at Boston’s TD Garden on July 24th.  So far, just 37-hundred tickets have been sold.  Despite the poor ticket sales, Rihanna is reportedly still demanding a lot for her shows.  One source adds, quote, “It’s the normal diva requests, which is tolerated when you make money.”

This isn’t the first time that Rihanna has had a tough time selling tickets to her shows.  She was also forced to cancel dates last summer while on her “Last Girl On Earth” tour.  Rihanna’s “Loud” tour gets underway June 4th at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore.  Cee Lo Green will also be performing on the tour.
