Hollywood actress Ashley Judd slams Hip Hop music in her new book.

The actress slams hip-hop describing it as “rape culture”. In her memoir titled “All That Is Bitter and Sweet.”

According to RadarOnline.com, Judd singles out hip-hop stars Snoop Dogg and Sean “Diddy” Combs for their participation in public service announcements and concerts for AIDS awareness.  Her issue is these celebrities who promote promiscuous behavior in their lyrics, also promoting messages of safe sex.

Judd writes, “As far as I’m concerned, most rap and hip-hop music – with its rape culture and insanely abusive lyrics and depictions of girls and women as ‘ho’s’ – is the contemporary soundtrack of misogyny.”

“All That is Bitter and Sweet” was released this week.  In it, she also details her difficult childhood growing up with her country superstar mother and sister Naomi and Wynonna Judd, as well as her recollections of drug and sexual abuse.
