Beyonce is being accused of costing a video game company several million dollars. TMZ.com says Gate Five has filed a lawsuit in New York, alleging that the pop megastar ruined the production of a video game called “Starpower: Beyonce.” Gate Five claims it had a deal in place last year to make the game, but during a “crucial moment” in development Beyonce asked for more money. According to the company, Beyonce’s move caused 70 people to lose their jobs just one week before the Christmas holidays. Gate Five now wants the six-point-seven-million-dollars they invested into “Starpower: Beyonce,” as well as more than 100-million-dollars in profits they say they would have made had the game been released.
