I was very excited when I got the facebook message that Indiana Life Science Academy wanted me and my good buddy Kyla to come talk to the girls during their lock in! These girls are so smart and intelligent and they had ALOT to say. We discussed topics such as Bullying, Respect, Talking to your parents and teachers, and even talk about boys!(eww…gross!!) We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait to go back! Special thanks to Vik Varwoo and Mr. Dinkins for inviting us!
PS. If you are a parent reading this…please sit down and have a “one on one” with your kids about bullying. It was the one topic that kept coming up. Some girls knew exactly what to do when someone was picking on them but alot of them didn’t. We as parents have got to talk to our kids and most importantly listen.
