Mariah Carey and Nick Cannnon doubled the size of their family this weekend. According to a spokeswoman for Carey, the pop singer gave birth to twins at a Los Angeles Hospital Saturday morning, which was the same day the couple celebrated three years of marriage. Cannon took to his Twitter account later that day to express just how excited he was about his new son and daughter. He wrote, quote, “My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!”
Carey and Cannon announced that they would be expanding their family back in October. On her birthday in March, the singer was briefly hospitalized with contractions.
