It was a proud day two years ago for J. Cole when he got penned to Jay’z Roc Nation label.

Fans are still waiting to see if Jigga’s choice will be the next lyrical beast. After the release of Friday Night Lights, however, fans are still asking the question, when will see the album?

Just this week Cole tweeted,“All singles done. Album ridiculous. Title Perfect. Music incredible,” right before releasing his first single, “Disgusting.”

Industry insiders are reporting that there is pressure coming from the top about the delays in his release.

Hip-Hop Wired reports that Jay-Z is losing patience with the North Carolina protegee and contacted Cole telling him if he didn’t speed up the process, they would have to disconnect.

In a other interviews, J Cole stated that he isn’t sweating the  pressure from the label and wants to be satisfied with the final product. 

 “I don’t worry about what the world wants me to do, I’m worrying about meeting my expectations.”

The debut single received a wide range of feedback from fans and critics on Twitter.

In an interview with ABC News, Cole spoke on Jay-Z, “I studied the game and I studied the greats and I studied people’s movements and the mistakes they made and the pitfalls. And he just did everything so close to perfect.”
