Music star Rihanna is being dragged into a discrimination lawsuit filed against Gucci.
According to the “New York Post,” a former tax lawyer for the Italian fashion label claims Gucci execs discriminated against Rihanna because she happens to be from Barbados.
Josephine Robinson says her boss ordered her to, quote, “tax the hell” out of the singer and find a way for Gucci to withhold 30 percent of the money it owed her for an endorsement deal. Robinson, who describes herself as a, quote, “dark-skinned West Indian Latina,” says that was one of many incidents where she had to face racist comments from the Gucci higher-ups.
In her lawsuit, Robinson claims she was fired after she complained about the discriminatory treatment.
