Bow Wow recently aired his frustration for not ever being on the cover of XXL, and doesn’t understand why they won’t give him credit where he thinks it’s due.
“I sold 12 million albums went on six tours, sold out Madison Square Garden seven times, and how the h*ll I don’t get no XXL cover? Every time I reach out they always got something [to] say on why. Are you basing it off skill? Cause I know some of these n*ggas can’t rap better than me, at the end of the day what are you basing it off?”
He went on to say that when his album drops, he’ll get the credit he’s due, even if he has to take it!
Do you think Bow Wow should’ve already been on the cover of XXL?
Personally, I don’t have a problem with Bow Wow. I think he’s a decent rapper. He probably is better than most in terms of delivery. His content? Well…that’s another story. However, too often…he’s trying too hard to be accounted for. We get it. You’re rich and you’ve done some things. Calm down. Plus, him calling himself the next Will Smith…stop right there.
