Did B.o.B walk out on his crew without settling on a bar-tab? Was he being Hollywood or was it a mistake?
Cornell Sun reported, in Ithica, N.Y. the rapper and his entourage visited a a college bar and consumed three bottles of $300 Grey Groose Vodka and racked up $160 in gratuity, then bounced.
The bar owner Brad Weiss stated that a server chased after them in the street, bill in hand.
The waiter was told by B.o.B’s manager, “We’re doing you a favor for not charging you … When we go to clubs, we get paid to come.'”
B.o.B’s team is contesting the owner’s story, saying that the waiter continuously offered them bottles and later apologized, telling them, “Don’t worry about it.”
The owner notes that the crew was given a complimentary bottle of champagne, reserved bar space and hour-and-a-half of priority service. He stated that previous celebrity patrons Drake and members of the Gym Class Heroes “have always paid, None of us had any idea at the time that they did not expect to pay for anything.”
