The lyrcial jabs between Jay-Z and Lil Wayne seem to have the rap game buzzin’ and Jay Z addresses the Beef for the first time at a fundraiser.

“That’s sport, that’s rap music,” Jay said at a fundraiser for his Shawn Carter Foundation. “Nothing is going to change. Only thing that changes is the participants.”

This isn’t his first lyrical war with other rappers, Jay Z has had battles with Nas, Jim Jones, Ma$e and Beanie Sigel. Rap battles are nothing new to Jigga.

We believe the beef began in 2009 when Birdman took offense that Jay was named MTV’s Hottest MCs list. Since then the YMCMB CEO pointed out that his artist and “son” Wayne was the better rapper and made the most money.

That’s when Hov responded on “H.A.M.” with the line: “I’m like, ‘Really, half-a-billi?’ N***a, really, you got Baby money/ Keep it real with n***as, n***as ain’t got my lady money.”

Wayne fired back on “It’s Good,” from Tha Carter IV track which also features Drake and Jadakiss saying:

“Talkin’ bout Baby money? I got your baby money/ Kidnap your bitch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money,” Weezy responded.

Sounds like Jay Z isn’t too concerned with Lil Wayne, what do you think? Write us in our Comments section below what you thjink of Jay Z vs Lil Wayne
