Common, Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco will pay tribute to one of hip-hop’s most memorable songs, “The Message,” at “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! – Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night.”
The trio will join the song’s originators – Grandmaster Flash, Melle Mel and Scorpio of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five – for a one-of-a-kind performance of the rap anthem to honor the recording’s recent addition to the 2012 Grammy Hall of Fame.
