Outspoken actress and comedienne Roseanne Barr has something to say about power couple Jay Z and Beyonce. Like other stars, celebrities and comedians, she decides to use Twitter to drop an angry rant towards Jay and Bey and didn’t stop there.
Roseanne thought it appropriate to attack President Obama for inviting Beyonce to sing Etta’s classic tune ‘At Last’ at his 2009 Inaugural Ball, rather than the blues icon belt it out herself.
The swipe at both Beyonce and Jay, of course, caused an uproar among their fans. After receiving a barrage of angry tweets Roseanne went on to attack the music stars’ fervent following, writing, “Beyonce’s fans are really ignorant-she should not be proud of entertaining drooling mutants!“ and “just finished telling all of beyonce’s cheesy stupid a– fans who slammed me to go and f— themselves! It was fun!”
Eventually Roseanne retracted her hateful comments about Beyonce being a worse singer than infamous ‘American Idol’ hopeful Sanjaya Malakar, but not about her and her hip-hop hubby’s “disgusting arrogance.”
“I sincerely want2 apologize 4 the rude comments I made2 twitters defending the fabulously talented Beyonce. I reverted 2 stand up slams,” she wrote.
