Today marks 15 years of losing one of Hip Hop’s greatest story-tellers ever.

Over a decade has passed since his murder, which is still unsolved, yet his lyrics and his spirit still live on. An example of that is through his daughter, T’yanna Wallace, who sat down for her first radio interview with Hot 97’s morning show

T’yanna, a Penn State undergrad, shared sentiments of her dad, though she admits memories of him are distant. However, her mother, Jan Jackson serves as the memory bank for her, sharing special and pivotal moments.

“The older I get, I swear I fall in love with his music more and more,” she states. “I’m like, talent out the butt.”

She shared her favorite Biggie track — ‘Machine Gun Funk’ — to explain that she has a great relationship with Faith Evans, who married the rapper. Jackson also maintains she too has a strong bond with Evans, dubbing her a “wife-in-law.”

Later in the interview, Jackson skirted the question of whether or not Diddy came to her with monetary assistance after B.I.G.’s death and explained what would happen if she were to see Lil’ Kim face-to-face.
