So the new “Beef is J. Cole vs The Simmons Family…but mainly Diggy. Long story short, Diggy didn’t think it was cool J.Cole said he banged his sister Vanessa out and then rapped about it. Here is what made Diggy mad
“Good girl huh, father was a preacher, sent her off to college thought I got her on a leash though,” Cole raps. “From the outside though, them girls be the squeakiest, you get ‘em inside them girls be the freakiest.”
Diggy decides to go IN! Check out his track here!
“Who dat, who dat, you know who it is, heard you lying on my sis, tellin’ people that you hit,” spits Diggy. “Little ni*ga think he cold, think he live like me/ Jetsetter, trendsetter, nah you not like me/ Can’t find a girl you know that do not like me/ I can’t find a girl I know that know you, you local/ Wasn’t even poppin’ in the school you used to go to/ Got aight lyrics, but can’t deliver your vocals/I’m about to read you your rights… Miranda/ Only thing you hittin’ in the morning is your hand up/ Stand up, matter fact, sit down, don’t try to call Hovi Hov for a sit down.”
Cant Front…pretty nice for the young Simmons. Check out what Rev Run and Vanessa had to say.
So who do you believe? The ultimate thing here is in true Rapper Subliminal fashion J. Cole really didnt say he hit off “Vanessa Simmons”. Is it fair to assume that she would be the only Vanessa he would meet in school and Smash? Is it fair to assume that there wasn’t another Vanessa at that school that lived a similar life as Rev Runs Daughter? Maybe time will tell. J. Cole either has to backpedal and diffuse this situation or go all in…
