Another reality star is getting just as sue happy as Basketball Wives’  Jennifer Williams. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is suing Vibe Magazine for $30 million on the grounds of defamation.

Phaedra Parks is suing the urban lifestyle publication because Vibe Magazine published an interview with Angela Stanton. Stanton wrote a book, “Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil…” claiming Parks was involved in all sorts of illegal activity including fraud. Though Angela Stanton’s tell-all didn’t impact as hard as Karrine “Superhead” Steffans Confessions of a Video Vixen, Parks has maintained every detail printed in the book is a lie.

Phaedra alleges in court documents Vibe Magazine published and promoted Stanton’s false and defamatory accusations on the Internet, and as a direct result, Stanton’s personal and unfounded vendetta against plaintiff went viral on the Internet. The false statements published by defendant are defamatory per se and damages to the reputation of Plaintiff are presumed as a matter of law.

Phaedra Parks is seeking $5 million in compensatory damages along with $25 million in punitive damages, payment for court fees, and a printed retraction from the magazine.

If everything in this book is untrue why is Phaedra going this hard? Something doesn’t sound right. Hold your head, Vibe!
