Arsenio Hall is returning to late-night TV.

CBS Television Distribution has reached a deal with Tribune Broadcasting stations to bring Hall back for a syndicated series set to launch in fall 2013.

The untitled series has already been sold in more than half the country, including 17 stations in the top 20 markets across Tribune, CBS and Local TV. The program would air at 11 p.m. in most markets, though WGN in Chicago would air it at 10 p.m.

Hall, who enjoyed a successful run with a syndicated late-night show during the 1990s, has seen his profile rise in recent months after winning the NBC reality series “Celebrity Apprentice” in May. Hall would executive produce the new series with John Ferriter.

“We’re excited to welcome Arsenio back to the family and partnering on his new, late-night syndicated talk show,” said CTD president John Nogawski.
