R&B singer-songwriter Kelly Price is known for her sweet disposition, but now she’s fighting mad.

Kelly Price started a petition on Change.org to end the racist treatment of United Airlines. According to Price, the reason for the petition is an incident that happened in a Houston, Texas airport where a United Airlines employee demanded Price to step to the back of the coach class ticket line when she clearly was holding a ticket for first class. After the employee realize her mistake, she nor any other United Airlines employees apologized or corrected their error.

Kelly Price vented her immediate frustrations with the airline on Twitter. She went on to say the rude United associate helped a “nonblack man in a suit” while still yelling at her. When Kelly began exchanging words with the United associate, the associate began screaming for help, attempting to get Kelly Price escorted out of the terminal by security and/or police. Luckily, cooler head prevailed before things went that far left.

However, Kelly Price has filed a complaint with United Airlines’ corporate offices along with creating the Change.org petition which is titled “Demand United Airlines Treat ALL Passengers Fairly.” So far, the petition boasts about 1,000 signatures. To get involved with Kelly’s crusade, click here.
