The legendary Hip Hop group Run-DMC are getting back together for a reunion concert after ten years apart from each other.
The New York crew disbanded just shortly after the passing of their DJ Jam Master Jay.
Ten years ago Run told All Hop Hop.com, “We can’t perform anymore. Nobody wants to see Run-DMC without Jay. Run-DMC is officially retired. I cannot get out in front of my fans with a new DJ. Some rock bands can replace the drummer and I don’t know any other way but to be the three original members. That’s all I can say. We are retired.”
The surviving members will reunite at the 7th annual Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, TX on Nov 2-4.
