Big news for Maybach Music Group fans.
The MMG Bawse Rick Ross has teamed with Live Nation for a series of shows this fall. The chance to see Ross, Wale and Meek Mill on one official tour is a landmark achievement for the label.
Even though MMG’s roster is stacked, Wale and Meek have has enjoyed a huge year. Wale released his sophomore album, Ambition, in late 2011, and with hits like “Lotus Flower Bomb” featuring Miguel, the effort has remained influential into 2012.
Ross recently released a new album of his own, the critically acclaimed God Forgives, I Don’t, and Meek is set to drop his debut record, Dreams & Nightmares, on Oct. 30.
Three shows for the new tour have previously been announced: Columbus, Ohio; Lexington, Ky.; and Champaign, Ill.
On Monday morning (Sept. 24), more news about the tour will be revealed.
