Producer Swizz Beatz is a busy man. Besides crafting hits for A-list artists, the recent Creative Director for Reebok has been named the Global Ambassador to New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation.
According to reports, the contribution Swizz will make to the HHC is helping secure the proper funding for the organization and any potential programs the organization may create in the future. While many may be scratching their heads as to why Swizz Beatz was chosen for the position, the HHC clarified his role will primarily deal with generating awareness about the relationship between the arts and rehabilitation.

The Executive Director of the fund for the HHC Joe Schick commented on the organizations choice to give the Global Ambassador title to Swizz Beatz, “[Swizz Beatz] is committed to using his creativity, his innovation, and his international stature to help spread the HHC message on a global scale to promote better health in our city and our world.”
The first order of business for the rapper/producer is a special fundraising event on September 27th at the Harlem Hospital Center. The event will honor Swizz Beatz for his contribution to the cause and will show appreciation for staffers at the Harlem Hospital Center.
