After nearly 48 hours behind bars on a probation violation charge, Atlanta rapper Lil Scrappy has been released from jail.

Scrappy’s attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis tells us the judge has put Scrappy back on probation — the kind where he is required to frequently check in with his probation officer. He had previously been on a “non-reporting” probation, according to reports from TMZ.While in jail, Scrappy’s camp posted mini updates on his Twitter page.

Lil Scrappy is OK, we’re working to get him out asap. Please keep him in your prayers. (Management) #FreeLilScrappy,” a message read October 1st.
