DJ Paul reportedly found himself in handcuffs last night (Oct 14) after New York City police discovered he had an illegal weapon with him.
NYPD say the Academy Award winner was illegally packin’ a taser.
According to reports from TMZ, Paul was carrying an open beer out of a restaurant when he passed a couple of officers. When officers confronted Paul about the open container, he reportedly told the cops he had a taser on his person.
Following his arrest, cops confiscated the weapon and placed Paul under arrested for open container and misdemeanor possession of a weapon. He was transported to a nearby station where he was booked and placed behind bars. Paul is slated to face a judge this morning.
One of the music producer/rapper’s last tweets dates back to roughly 9 PM EST Sunday night.
