New Orleans rapper Dee-1 is the definition of hustling. The Urban Daily profiled the young talent when he was first starting to bubble last year. Since then, he’s been grinding to get his name and music to the masses. Dee-1′s latest release comes in the form of a black and white music video for the track “You Stupid Fools.”
Lifted from his recent mixtape The Focus Tape, “You Stupid Fools” holds a mirror up to the hood to show them that their behavior isn’t conducive to getting out of the ghetto. The song calls attention to each stereotype and then shows how ridiculous their actions are by lampooning them. Although Dee-1′s video goes in on those stereotypes, it’s obvious this is Dee’s version of tough love.
