This year the Nike Air Force 1 silhouette turned 30 years young, but like every mature starlette sometimes it takes some subtle touch-ups to help it keep pace with the times. And for the shocking reveal, Nike has presented the Lunar Force 1 Fuse, an update on the classic’s timeless silhouette with a Hyperfuse-constructed body and a Lunarlon sole sitting below. The iconic Air unit has been removed, but the result is a more streamlined, seamless look and an even lighter weight (11.7 ounces) without a loss in comfort or flexibility. The color scheme is the classic white-on-white, which is perfect for showcasing the new technology making an appearance under the Swoosh and on the toe cap. There’s no word of when these beauties will be released, but because they’ll look so fresh with a crisp pair of denim jeans, they’ll probably be ready for Spring/Summer 2013.
