Noblesville police and medics responded to a house where a young boy, believed to be 2 or 3 years old, had been reported stabbed in the head. Police said shortly after 6 p.m. that the child has died.
The incident happened at Autumn Breeze Apartments on the northern edge of Noblesville.
Noblesville police Lt. Bruce Barnes said authorities have made no arrests and are questioning witnesses. He said the victim is believed to be 2 or 3 years old.
