Last March, a judge sentenced Brown to an alcohol treatment facility, probation, and a fine after he pleaded no contest to a DUI charge he had received one month after his former wife, iconic songstress, Whitney Houston, was buried.

In August, Two months after he married his second wife, Alicia Etheredge, in a lavish Hawaiian ceremony, Brown checked himself in to a 90-day rehab facility as part of his March DUI plea deal.  Just three weeks in to the program, though, a frustrated Brown checked himself out of the treatment center with family members accusing him of not taking his alcohol addiction seriously.

And in October, Brown refused a sobriety test that would have been administered by Los Angeles police.

Brown’s first legal scraping with the law involving his battles with the bottle was back in 1996 when he was slapped with a DUI.

Meanwhile, Brown’s recent conviction also carries 4-years probation and a mandate, forcing him to attend an 18-month alcohol program.
