TMZ is reporting that Pat Houston Manager and Sister-In-Law to Whitney Houston had a suicide scare today. According to TMZ, Pat made some disturbing comments on her Facebook page that upset some loved ones so much that they started trying to get her on the phone and by text. When this didn’t work, they rushed over to her home and allegedly found her passed out on her bed next to a pill bottle. Upon their discovery they called 911 and summoned EMS to Pat’s Alpharetta, GA home!

The message that started all of the hullabaloo read;

“Sometimes you just feel like giving up on life and its many challenges. And for the first time in my life…I’m tired…and I want to finally rest. I love you guys.”

Pat woke up when the police got to her home and told them that she took medicine because her back was bothering her.  She explained that she turned off her phone before going to sleep which is why she didn’t know people were trying to speak with her.

Pat also allegedly told people that she was never suicidal and that the Facebook posting was just because she was stressed.

Law enforcement confirms that Pat was in fact taken to the hospital as a preventative measure but that she was released a short time later.

Thank God her friends and family jumped in when they couldn’t get a hold of her. Suicide is nothing to take lightly. If you think someone is in trouble, or even if you think they are just trying to get attention, take it seriously and get help immediately  There may not be a minute left for second guessing. We’re glad Pat is ok.
